Guidelines
We can’t wait to hear your ideas for a Dynamic Downtown Denver! Please carefully review all guidelines before submitting your application.
Your proposed activation should:

Activate Downtown Denver in the spirit of community, celebration and pride for our city

Take place outside in the Downtown Denver area between fall 2023 and spring 2024

Be free and open to the public

Be new and unique

Generate vibrancy through a unique variety of community-driven activations throughout Downtown Denver

Empower the community to celebrate community identity, arts and cultural heritage, and the history and future of Denver through diverse and inclusive projects and programs
-
Foster community collaboration and encourage partnerships among individuals, artists, performers, businesses and organizations across sectors and interests

Create a sense of place, pride, purpose, connectedness and belonging throughout Denver’s city center neighborhoods

Draw the public to the Downtown Denver neighborhoods
Priority Areas
Projects or programs should be new and unique events or activations, taking place in highly-visible, street-level, accessible, public and/or privately owned outdoor spaces that provide free and engaging experiences to the public and bring people downtown. Areas highlighted in blue will be prioritized, with consideration also going to places within the Downtown Area boundaries (highlighted in yellow).
